  • What is the turnaround time?

    Most orders are completed within 2–3 business days of arrival. Larger orders or those requiring battery replacement may take slightly longer. You’ll be notified once your order is complete and ready to ship back.

  • are any of your services 100% guaranteed to fix my issues? repairs?

    No service/repair is 100% guaranteed. While disc resurfacing and cartridge cleaning are highly effective, some items may be beyond repair due to deep damage, corrosion, or structural issues. Cartridge battery replacement, is 100% guaranteed for your cartridge to have a new, full charge battery, and tested afterwards. If a disc or cartridge is deemed unrepairable, it will be returned in its original condition and you will not be charged for that item.

  • how does the shipping process work?

    You ship your items to us using your preferred carrier. Once the service is complete, we ship them back to you using tracked USPS Ground Advantage, with a $5 return shipping fee applied to every order. You’ll receive tracking info once your items are on the way back.

  • what is your return policy?

    Because these are restoration services, returns are not accepted once work is completed. However, if an item is deemed beyond repair before service begins, it will be returned untouched and you will not be charged for that item.

  • do i have to consent to next life games to post my orders on socials?

    No. Content is only created with your explicit consent. If you do opt in, your name, address, and personal info will never be shown or mentioned. Only your order number may appear on screen so you can recognize your disc or cartridge.

  • how do i track my order?

    Once your items are shipped back, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. If you haven’t received it within the expected timeframe, feel free to reach out.

  • do you offer bulk pricing?

    Yes—bulk pricing is available for orders of 10 or more items. Any purchases above 10 or more items is 20-25% off, everything after 10!

  • Can you resurface every disc?

    No. Discs with cracks, peeling, top-layer damage, or separating layers are considered beyond repair and cannot be safely resurfaced. These will be returned as-is and not charged if sent in.

  • Does disc resurfacing lose save data?

    No. Disc-based games do not store save data on the disc itself—it’s saved to your console or memory card. Resurfacing only affects the plastic surface and does not touch the data layer. Please read the “How does disc resurfacing work?” post under our ‘Learning’ section.

  • Does battery replacement lose save data?

    Yes. Replacing a cartridge battery will erase any existing save data. If your game still holds a save, you may want to delay battery replacement until it’s no longer functional.
